Great double LP pairing.Gene was at the top of his game on the "I'm Gonna Be Strong" LP, with "Who Needs It," "Follow The Sun" and "I'm Gonna Find Myself A Girl" standouts.The guy just blasts into the songs and their arrangements.The same holds true regarding for the songs "Looking Through The Eyes of Love" and "Last Chance To Turn Around." Both LPs present a variety of song types and show Gene as the versatile singer he was.The booklet is informative and interesting.Though all of his songs are not my cup of tea,he deserves a decent boxset given his talent,abilities and contributions.Rick Nelson would've probably agreed as it was Gene's "Hello Mary Lou" that was a smash for him.
