Very excited to find this vinyl available. I wasn't even aware of this album's existence until recently. I love Manuel Göttsching, so finding a new album with a different collaborator was really exciting. This album doesn't disappoint. It's two long sides of the kind of philosophy he brings to many of his compositions-- using repetitious patterns that gradually build over time. His interplay with Michael Hoenig creates a calming and peaceful feeling that differs from some of the more exciting and rocking songs from early Ash Ra. This album also moves Göttsching's work beyond the guitar driven sound of Ash Ra and some of his earlier solo work and pushes it more towards the electronic work he would focus on in his later recordings. A great album for working, concentrating, reading, or just relaxing. I also appreciated the liner notes that detail how this album came about from a kind of impromptu jam session in 1976.
