This bed is a really good option if you are looking for something cheap that doesn't feel or look cheap.I took my time while setting up the bed and it took me around 4 hours from start to finish with a couple of breaks. It is super easy to set up, just simply a lot of pieces that need to be put together after it arrives so that it will fit in the box. I bet that it could all be set up by one person in 2-3 hours. Make sure that you look at the directions very carefully for the first 5 or so steps because they can be tricky with knowing which way they should be facing which does make a difference when you start putting other pieces together with it.Please note when you buy it that the box is EXTREMELY heavy, so it may be difficult to take up stairs, but I've heard of other people that have just taken some of the pieces out and carried them up one by one to make it lighter. If you have 2 people you may be able to carry the box, but it would definitely be quite taxing.The bed is super quiet, no squeaking whatsoever, and the LED lights are quite nice even as a nightlight. Aesthetically it is quite nice and fits really nice with it's woody look. I bought the queen size bed and it was a perfect fit for my queen size mattress. We have a really tall mattress and a foam topper on it as well and it didn't even come close to being high enough to block the headboard compartment which has been an issue with other beds.My only concern is the drawers. They slide in and out just fine, but they have a really weird lock-into-place hook method of closing and staying shut. I hope it won't be too much of an issue, but so far it's been OK. Another thing to remember for this bed is that the back of the headboard compartment is open so anything that falls out the back is lost under the bed. This could be fixed by adding a simple fiberboard on the back which is what I think I'll end up doing when I have some time.All in all, I am quite pleased with my purchase even with the few downsides because it was much cheaper than I would have paid elsewhere.
