This book requires a lot of hands on material. If you don't have the material to complete the experiments there's not much teaching you can do. I wanted to be able to teach whether I chose to do an experiment or not. So it is taking me a bit more time to get through each lesson as I have to search around the house or purchase items needed. I don't mind the experiments at all but I want to choose to do one or not rather forced to do so.
