Put a motor on your Old Town or similar canoe without cluttering up the cockpit with a crossbar! called "the Sidesaddle". Fits Old Town vinyl gunwales like a glove. Also other brands with similar gunwale shape and size, like some Mad River, Mohawk, Nova Craft and Wenonah models. Tightens on securely with just one hand knob. Tightening that knob clamps it securely. Made just for Old Town with the black plastic gunwales and other brands with same type of gunwale (rectangular gunwales of 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 inches width and thickness of the lip from an inch to 1 1/2 inches.) Improved design features aluminum block instead of wood.
