Columbia Women's Pardon My Trench Rain Jacket - Waterproof & Stain Resistant Lightweight Raincoat for Outdoor Hiking, Travel & Commuting

I bought this for use while backpacking around Europe including fall in England and Scotland. I was pretty happy with my choice. It packs very small and light (it's just windbreaker material after all) but even after zipping it into its own pocket (just be careful not to 100% close the zipper) it unfolded relatively wrinkle free. I feel like the black trenchcoat look with the accompanying tying sash looked a little more stylish than your usual bright American attire and helped me to blend in and feel more confident around town. I wore it out in several rainstorms and it worked well to keep me dry. It also added a little extra warmth as a top layer on brisk days. I haven't really used it in warmer climates though.I ordered one size larger than I normally would based on reviews, and I'm glad I did. I wanted to be able to fit a layer under it, and plus the sash allows you to cinch any extra room if it's a bit loose. I do think it runs small so I'd recommend a size up.
