This fountain replaces a very similar one that cracked after about five years service, which I think is acceptable for a fairly inexpensive purchase. No assembly is required and the new fountain hangs off the same hook as the old one, so the installation was quick and painless. It looks good from a few feet away and provides a pleasant water noise for our patioThis fountain is everything I was expecting. No, it's not the same as the copper fountain I had at a former residence, but it's hundreds of dollars less. Aside from the weight difference and the allure of true metal, the pump is identical to the one in my former and the sound of water trickling is just as soothing and I have no doubt the structural foam will perform just as well. Some critics complained about the splash but I found the splash to be no more than you should reasonably expect. Very pleased and befuddled by the few negative comments but I remind myself, a buzzard and a bee flying over an open field will each find what it is looking for.DRPetrey, P.E. Baker, FLOverall, I am pleased with this fountain. I knew before I purchased it that I didn’t like the brassy look of the faucet, and planned to paint it. My only complaint was the sloppy job of the brassy gold paint. It was also on the body of the fountain- not just the faucetPerfect size. Sounds wonderful. I like that you can adjust the water flow.I like everything about this fountain, EXCEPT that it's always wet below the fountain. No matter if we set the pump on high or low, or keep the water level at high or low, it's still wet on the sidewalk.I like the idea of this but they need a clear coat over the fountain. Mine is less than a year old and it has white non removable water stains all over it. It’s on my front deck and while I love the idea and sound of it, it looks horrible
