In order to be able to understand the comprehensive and detailed discourse of this excellent text, I needed to go back and reviewed graduate level quantum mechanics (Cohen Tannoudji, Dirac, Messiah, Weinberg) and elementary quantum field theory (Mandl). This is NOT an introductory text since Gauge Theory is the key concept in Quantum Field Theory and led to major discoveries in modern particle physics.
