Excellent bed. I've had it for a few weeks now. No creaks, extremely sturdy and beautiful teal. I was unsure because other photo reviews seem to show a blue, not a real teal. This is extremely important when you are choosing a statement color for a room. However, do this: Grab any teal item in your house and see how the camera changes the color. This is the case with this bed. It truly is a beautiful peacock teal. I am very happy with my new bed. Don't hesitate to order. Also, no need for a box spring. My underbed 4 inch storage seems to work just fine. As a last minute but very important thing, don't freak out if there is a press mark on the velvet. Brush it away and dampen it with water.
