I just got this for my friend who is normally a mens small in tops but because of the reviews, I went with a large, which I put on and it is way too big so I know it will be too big on him. I just ordered a medium and hope it will arrive soon enough to swap out. I am afraid bc of all the comments about the sizing being wrong that a small will be too small so Im hoping the medium is just right. One thing I have to say about the construction- it looks very nice and I love the omni heat silver lining but the bottom of the zipper front is not sewn well. I imagine this might be a problem, as in the first thing to go on it with continued wear. Will update when I get the next one!This vest runs true to size. It’s very plush and cozy. The battery lasts quite a while. It’s very simple to use, plug battery in and go. Battery is hidden in a compartment within the vest. The heat is sufficient and warm. This is going to make a considerable difference this winter while working outdoors.I ordered my normal size, but it won’t fit! Can’t zipper it!Love this product! Super warm exactly what I wanted!Fits well and the design is very nice.It’s not that fluffy so you can wear it as a sport vest too if you like.I wont recommend it for super cold environments more for between 30 and 50 I’d say.It has 3 temperature levels and the battery lasts a relatively good amount of time, it can easily handle about 2 hours if you manage turning it on and off and use lower temp levels.The battery is decent sized and not too bulky hence the fact that it doesn’t last for several hours.You can wear it with almost anything which is nice and the design is nice and comfortable.One downside in my opinion and the main reason for the 4 stars is that it doesn’t have any heating in the middle parts and lower parts of the vest. Everything is on the upper body and around the upper chest and neck. It usually gets super hot around there if you put it on high temp but the lower part remains cold.Yes this vest heats up and will keep you nice and warm, so much so that you may end up wearing fewer layers with it. With that said however, it was a keen disappointment to me. I used the sizing chart that was provided and ordered a large. Upon receipt, the vest tag said that it was indeed a large, however, there is no way that I could wear it. It is way too small. That's okay, I figured that my petite-sized wife could wear it... but it was a tad too small for her too.We finally found a wearer for it, in our very petite adult daughter. She loves it!Warms up quickly, keeps you cozy. Works great.
