Keratase has good name brand recognition. I've been trying a range of different hair styling products (that have keratin) to get height, fullness & shine. I also bought different Keratase shampoos and conditioners to try. This product is OK, not the greatest. You can feel a little stiffness in your hair, not sticky, doesn't impart any shine or curl/wave, and doesn't give my hair the amount of height and fullness I was looking for. Plus, it's not a spray. You put a blob on your hands, and it's hard to work an even amount through your hair using your hands, then you have to wash your hands afterwards. I put it on my fingers, and rub the product with my finders into my hair's roots which makes the roots wet and sticky (hard to get brush through it when wet) until I blow dry it. Not very efficient was to apply product in my book. I finally found the spray recently on Amazon, ordered it, hoping to get even coverage. The product is too thick to come out of the spray nozzle evenly. My roots are flat and heavy days after use, and no shine. My hair looks the same as if I'd never used this product. Different hair products work differently on different types of hair. For myself,it doesn't work. I won't buy this again. Sorry.Sadly, it's nearly impossible to find Forme Fatale. Once in a great while, one will pop up on Amazon. That is the biggest problem with all of the Kerstase products. You just get accustomed to using your favorite shampoos, conditioners, etc., and the company discontinues them. It's highly frustrating because their products are great quality.I have fine hair and was using a couple of different products after each wash to blow dry to fullness. I discovered Forme Fatale via my hair salon and it is now the only product I need for blow drying. It leaves my hair shiny and with body which my hair lacks otherwise. My only problem is my salon will not carry it anymore because they had real problems with slow to now response from the Keratase rep in our area. I now order via Amazon, the price is about the same as the salon, and is admittedly pricey. It is worth the cost to me because I do not need to use much each wash/blow out and it replaces at least two other products.I have always had problems with my hair going limp and straight in the humidity while vacationing at the beach so I decided to give this a try since I am a big Kerastase user. It worked quite well! My hair is shoulder-length so I would use about a quarter size dab worked into my towel dried hair and blow dry as usual. I was able to keep my style for 2-3 days before having to blow dry again and in Caribbean heat and humidity I considered that a great success!After waiting nearly 2 months, due to delays in customs, my much loved and cherished hair gel from the U.K., which can only be found in Europe, has arrived!!! I first used it on the cruise ship in the Mediterranean, and can't find it anywhere in the US.My hair is fine and thin, so most products just weigh it down. On damp, clean hair, I use a pea-sized squirt on my finger tips and apply it to my roots first, then run my fingers down the length of my hair. Dry with blow dryer. I feels and looks fuller, with a nice shine. It lasted 2 years on my medium short hair. It's a great product.In the past I used a Bedhead product. As it was no longer available, I search for a replacement product. As the reviews for Kerastase were strong, I decided to give it a try and glad I did! I have fine hair and this product added some needed texture. Not too heavy, but can feel it when coming out after using my curling iron. Highly recommend!I am growing my hair out and have some wild waves in the back and ends, that I had forgot about when my hair was short. I still have a ways to go with the growing out. This product really helped in smoothing out the wild waves, when blowing it out. I didn't want to use a flat iron and risk problems from that. I liked it immediately.This is a heavy brown gel which doesn't excite. Use too little and it misses half the hair. Use too much and you can't even dry your hair properly. It doesn't leave the hair smooth and glossy because it's a strong hold but to be honest, I won't be using it again because I don't like the feel it leaves my hair in. Maybe it should be used on soaking wet hair but I do towel dry my hair before use.Just ok, a bit sticky and left my hair pretty stiff with not a lot of movement. It does protect your hair from heated gadgets like straighteners etc but don't buy this product if you are looking for a natural style with lots of movement in your hair, this won't do it for you.Love this product, great for blow drying - and applying to damp hair then leaving to dry naturally.
