I was looking for a simple bed frame and to downsize from and queen to a full to increase the space in my room. This bed frame fit the bill perfectly.I was looking for an all black but got the black and gray combo since all black was not available. Safe to say that the gray is basically dark enough to look black.The assembly time was pretty fast and can be done alone but easier with some help, took about 1-2 hours maybe less. No special tools needed, includes the only tool you’ll need which is a hex key tool.You have about 10ish inches of clearance under the bed for some storage space as well.It’s a platform bed so you don’t need a box spring and can put a mattress right on it.Awesome bed, exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy feeling, happy with my purchase.We like this bed frame. My teen son picked it out and he loves how it looks. The seller is fantastic. I originally ordered a full size but after learning a queen mattress is 5 inches longer (he is 6'1" and still growing), I regretted ordering a full size. I emailed the company and my order had already shipped but they went out of their way to intercept the order and have it returned to them so I could order the queen. They didn't charge me a fee for this and gave me a full refund. I happily ordered the queen AND it came earlier than expected.I tried finding my daughter a bed in a couple of furniture stores and they were all out of stock until November, so we came looking on Amazon. This bed is amazingly well-built, sturdy, and does not squeak. The best advice I can give is to lay out all the pieces and label what letter it is on the bag because some pieces aren't marked, this makes things go much faster. Pay attention to the pictures on the directions to make sure you have the part facing the correct way. Also, do not tighten the screws completely until all the slats are in because it helps the pieces fit easier when you can slide the rails outward some. When putting the slats in, put each side in the upper open part before sliding it down into the groove because the upper area has more room to slide the slat back allowing more room to get the other side in. Anyway, I would not hesitate to buy this bed again; it was packaged nicely and came very quick. I have one happy teen!Love everything about it except for the height which is my fault for not reading/understanding the specs completely. Overall great modern bedframe!Purchased this bed frame for my 16 year old son, he loves it ! It's sturdy and comfortable.Got this in a timely manner, bout 30-45 mins to build and holds up pretty well. Has a bit of a squeak to it when shifting around but overall pretty content.So far my son likes this bed. I was surprised at how sturdy it seems. Yes, the wood accents are fake, but you could easily replace them if they become damaged. My only disappointment is that the headboard isn't as tall as it looks in the stock pictures.The bed is great!!! Very easy to put together, and it’s very sturdy!!! I do recommend getting the black bed. The brown one has a lot of bad reviews on wood chipping and parts not fitting. The black one is the way to go!
