Items is sturdy for keys and simple light day to day use but the turning lock mechanism and the clip scrape and make an annoying squeak sound. Something like WD40 or a mechanical lube might fix that issue at the cost of exposing your hands to that oil every time you unlock the locking screw. Paint on the carabiners also come off easy from light scratches from keys or metal pieces. Solid item if you don't care about high quality.I just use these as a way to clip my keys to my belt loops and I think they are perfect for just that. Can't speak to the durability of them just yet but, it was nice to see each one individually packaged to prevent them from scratching against each other during shipping. The orange is a nice color and the locking mechanism worked smoothly.Brings a couple of them which is great! They feel pretty solid in the hand and don't feel like they might bend or break on low to medium pressure. However, they do say not to use these for climbing and since it says it on the actual product. I would not recommend it. But overall is still pretty great to hold keys and other things. I got the blue which looks really nice and stands out a lot. The only problem is that the paint will chip off. Mine has already chipped off near the bends. The piece that tightens to stop it from opening is also a nice touch but can untighten by itself sometimes but you can take it off if you don't like it which is niceNot too bad…a little light weight but good for what I neededThe thing these have going for them is the anodizing colors look very good. However I feel they have a few flaws, even as cheap aluminum carabiners go. First is the aluminum alloy they used is incredibly soft, so a note to anyone who's accustomed to being able to open bottles with their key carabiner look elsewhere. Just a half dozen bottles I've opened and now the tip has become so rounded and flakes so much it can't open them anymore. In addition this means that using these just as camping attachments is iffy. I attached a 40oz water bottle to my backpack, which was still somewhat supported by other straps, on a 6 hour hike and found that by the end of the hike the carabiner had bent slightly out of shape. Still usable but definitely deformed. In addition just the one I'm using as a key fob is showing signs of wear after a month so I don't expect it to look very good for long.I used these on leashes that I made for my dogs (one is 10 lbs, the other is 20). I know these say they are not for climbing so may not be ideal for anything weight bearing but so far I haven't had any issues using these for my dogs even thought they do pull sometimes. For my smaller dog, who would probably run off if he ever got loose, I put a second back up clip on his leash for extra security just in case this does ever break/come loose.Lightweight Carabiner which I use as a keyring. My only issue with the ones I received is that the black twist ring is very loose. The threads on it I think were designed to be tight after paint was applied or something. After some use it loosened right up. Now I just check it every so often and tighten screw back to lock it so latch doesn't come open and misplace my keys. Otherwise I like the aluminum construction, the design of the clasp, even the 'design' of locking twist nut. Thank YouGreat looking Carabiner. Not sure what the strength limits for the product are, so I would trust these as cargo anchors or to anchor anything heavier than 50lbs. Just to be on the safe side. I bought them for my MOLLE accessories and they hold canteens or outdoor products, love the look and screw locks.
