You’re paying for material choice and attention to detail with this one.I was looking very hard to find a soft crate that could handle a rough puppy, and this was the closest I could find.1. The aluminum frame opens straight up and straight down easily. It’s a great choice for smaller cars.2. The crate pad is fitted to “lock in” to the frame, which is awesome because my dog likes to dig at crate pads and move them all over the place. The foam is nice and comfortable.3. The crate pad (as well as the rest of the crate) fully disassembles quickly for easy cleaning.4. The zippers are quality.5. It comes with a very nice carry strap that you can hook on or leave in a zippered compartment. I have them hooked on and I use the zippered compartment for storage.6. The bottom is made from a rubberized fabric to give grip.7. Despite all of these nice material choices, it’s still lightweight (even in large size).
