These Hefty Ultra Strong Kitchen bags are just that: ULTRA STRONG (in my book, that's the best!). Plus, they have a really pleasant scent that stays fresh 'til garbage day. They easily handle my family of 4's insane amount of garbage without tears. I even put a whole diaper box in one as a test, and there were absolutely no tears. You finally can't tell when we've taken the trash out (You know the trail of garbage juice down the hall? Yeah, gross!). I am so thankful for this product and the time that I now don't have to spend mopping the floors.Check the size, these are not tall kitchen trash bags, they are for a shorter & wider can. I'm using them in my "tall kitchen" trash can but they are short. They do stretch out so its okay, but not ideal.Finally, a kitchen size that hides your garbage! So pleased that what I take to the landfill is no longer everyone in else's view. I like my privacy. Very strong - will continue to buy.These bags hold a LOT and they can take a lot of abuse. The smell is not overwhelming but helps with the garbage smell. I would not try any other bags.Hefty black extra strong trash bags are perfect, especially in comparison with Glad trash bags, which have drawstring ties that are very difficult to use. I got Glad bags once on sale. Never again. Love my Hefty bags!I haven't had any problems with leaking or ripping, but the bags don't seem to have very much stretch. They seem pretty stiff.This product stays true to being ultra strong. My husband is always over packs the garbage before taking it out. I have not had one bag break, leak or just give out.
