Let's start with the positives (and there are several). It's extremely sturdy and very quiet (no squeaks or rattles) and the 7" low-profile height is great. Now, my compliments to anyone that actually assembled this thing in 20 minutes. It took me and my wife TWO (2) HOURS of struggling and cussing to get this thing assembled. Again, we're extremely happy with the foundation, but pack a lunch before you start assembling it.This is perfect for a foundation. It does what it's suppose to. It was very simple to set up. I did it by myself in about 45 minutes, just because there is a lot of screws. It's great for heavyset people as well.My husband was able to assemble this in no time. It’s a great product that provides a solid foundation for my mattress.i do like this .i bought the king and it was nice to have a 1 peice box set .i do not know why they always make split sets for king .it always seems to have that crease in the middle .anyway some of the metal was bent ,but when i added the screws it seems to have flattened them out .as for being easy i have a bad back and it was hard ,but for those with no back problems it seems real easy to put together .Cover worksThis is a good sturdy box spring for the money, it was just very hard to to assemble. I was doing it alone which I felt should not be a problem but it was very awkward and wouldn't have been so bad had all the screw holes lined up. Some on the connect joints were warped and bent up so it made it very difficult to line everything up and put the screws in. It took hours.You need two people to assembleEasy to assemble.Sturdy material.The horizontal bars are the weak point, because they sit on top of thinly welded slots. Would have been a better design to actually bolt them in. We’ve had a few slip off/move. Causing us to readjust them by taking off the liner that goes over it. Kind of annoying.Overall satisfied, but this would probably be my second choice if I had to repurchase.
