Perfect fit to replace frozen pipe!I replaced a 20 year old valve with this. Fit perfectly, and kudos to the Pentair people for providing an easy search for a replacement for a discontinued product. The one I took out contained a heavy brass push pull handle. This one is entirely plastic. Seems sturdy enough, but I doubt there is 20 years of life in this one.Easy to install yourself, and the outside vendor listing the item was extremely good. Quick shipping, fair price and nice email to follow up.The valve I received is different the the one shown in the advertised figure. It is being returned. The valve I received has spacing for pool and pump connection 7.5-in. Center. The one shown, older, is 5-in Center. This is the one in the picture I thought I ordered. The connections to the filter are correct, 8-in. Also, the handle design is different. Therefore the valve I received is not a compatible replacement for my broken valve. It is poor practice to use the same part number for different valve designs. Creates confusion like this!Hard to find but greatly pleased.Save yourself money and order it here.
