I really like this box spring. I bought a foam hybrid mattress. I was just going to put my mattress down on the frame with either a bunky board or slats. Then I realized that that would be a problem because the mattress probably would only have been about 7 inches above the ground not including my mattress. For me, that would have been way too close to the ground. I bought box spring basically because I could get it quickly and it would place my mattress higher up than it would be otherwise. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to put together. This works good and you would never even know that it wasn't like the old fashioned box springs where you had the springs and all the padding and the wood frame. It's very lightweight, one person assemble & can move it around with no problem. It fits perfect in the bed frame. There were two things that are worth noting, nothing bad but definitely should be mentioned. There's a fitted cover that goes over the metal frame. You have to be careful not to put it on sideways. I guess this one only applies if you have a king size bed because both sides are very similar in size but not the same. Also once you have the proper direction of the cover, it's better having another person help you finagle the cover over the metal box spring frame. The first time we tried putting it over the frame, it kept coming up short on the front side. This can be adjusted and it's not really a problem. But with only one person your going to be doing a lot of running back and forth making adjustments. I noticed is that after the mattress is placed on top of the box spring, If you're not careful and you lean on it from the side, the mattress will move or shift. Aside from those caveats, I think it's a good product, it's just what I was looking for. It was inexpensive, it came relatively quickly and it appears pretty sturdy. I would probably buy this again.
