fits perfect.. not very hard to replace. the machining is awesome.. when putting the new one on.. ease it into the hole, up to the O-ring, then tap with a rubber mallet, till the O-ring slips in, then work it back slowly keeping the pump square to the cover.. tighten the bolts slowly.. each one, a little at a time.. keeping even.. NOW I replaced my pump - HOWEVER.. turns out, I didn't need it.. It's the O-ring, not the pump.. I don't know why, but the 0-ring, was square when I got it off.. perhaps it's the coolant.. My truck had 80,000 miles.. I thought it was odd for the water pump to go out at only 80,000, especially when the truck has electric fans.. the old water pump was tight, with no play in the shaft.. the pulley rotated butter smooth.. in fact, when cleaned up a little, I could barely tell the difference between the old one and the new one. You can buy the O-rings.. for the hose connections too. get a bottle of dye and put it in the system first.. THEN look where the leaks are coming from.. don't buy the water pump until you KNOW it's the pump.. the machine work on this thing is beautiful though..
