No - these magnetic hangers are easier to remove than other hangers, thanks to our extended hook design which provides more leverage for removal. If you have trouble removing it from a steel surface, see our tips below. I'm having trouble removing the hanger from my metal door, what should I do? If putting your finger in the hook and pulling up does not work, then you can use a screwdriver in the hook to leverage the magnet off.
