Can't really say the installation was easy. this was on the deck of a new pool construction (AG). I had no problem, but it took a while to get it set up. I have a lot of experience in building and carpentry, and the way I set this into the deck, (Trex) came out perfectly, but I had to make a template where I could rout a depression in the trex so that it would seat level with the deck. I'm not sure many folks could do that well. A better diagram, with suggestions as to installation might be advisable for most users.
