This product was really easy to put together, and even came with a mini furniture ratchet (thank you for saving my wrist). The drawback to the box-spring is that the middle support seems to be a little higher than the rest of the slats or harder (I can feel it easily - maybe the manufacturer should consider lowering the main support position a bit). I have a thick futon mattress (that's what I like to sleep on the most), but I think I'm probably going to need an additional bunkie board to smooth out the feeling of the middle support.We bought for our guest room because we did want to move our old box spring downstairs when we moved and risk damaging the walls.My husband and I assembled together in about 30 minutes. Not difficult just a lot of screws.Our only guests so far have been kids (said it was good) but it seems comfortable from short tests.It is a foundation and more solid than a traditional box spring.I will never buy a wood box spring again! This is my second purchase for this brand of box spring. I have a full size which I bought about 2 years ago and a king size which I bought a week ago. . VERY STURDY! Assembly is about 35 minutes and it comes with a ratchet tool! I love that it comes with a cover, however I was disappointed when it was only a top cover with straps vsa full cover with a zipper. Bring back the full cover and zipper!I purchased 2 of these in February 2018 for my sons who are extremely active (jumping on beds, active sleepers, run and slide into bed kind of kids) and they've been amazing. Prior to these I was having to replace their box springs every other year because they'd break them so I got these hoping that I could get 4 or 5 years out of them. So far, I have gotten over 4 years and I honestly do not foresee these needing to be replaced in another 4 years. They're easy to assemble, easy to move once assembled, and incredibly sturdy. The only small complaint I have is the covers are not as sturdy as the frames. I need to replace one due to my kiddo puncturing it some how and the other cover is showing some threadbare spots and will need to be replaced. After what we've been through with standard box springs, only needing to replace covers after 4 years is amazing.I've assembled many things, and this is the easiest I've ever seen. Clear instructions. Labelled parts. Excellent tools. Spare hardware!Also, they provided a clever Allen wrench that ratchets.We purchased a home with archway leading up our stairs. But we were unable to maneuver our queen sized box spring up the stairs due to the archway at the bottom of the steps! We went bath and forth between cutting the arch out , cutting the box spring it half. It was a mess! But before making any minor adjustments to our home I searched for a box spring that gets put completely together ! And I found this ! We easily carried the slim box upstairs that it came in and put it together !Easy to assemble. Instructions clear and parts well labeled. No issues. Great foundation. Bought two in queen. Not difficult to move into place but simpler with two people.I liked: the price point; the quick delivery; the good packaging; the rapid setup; the low profile, and the strength and durability of the assembled product.I had a box spring that was making noise every time I moved and my wife said 'fix it!'. So I read the reviews and saw the comment about no noise. I've never seen a steel box spring, but I thought I'd try. The box wasn't light but not bad at all, and I had it set up in under a half-hour. Very easy assembly and tools were provided, including some quirky wrench I didn't need. The quality was better than I expected - good paint finish, welds and the hole locations were perfect. Best thing - no noise! Works exactly as described and my wife is happy also. So, a very satisfied customer.I have a platform bed and had been using it with a foam mattress for a while. I was hesitant to get a support simply because the only ones available were wood. The fact that this is metal and took less than 20 minutes to assemble and install are just bonuses.The support of this foundation is superb. You cannot feel the rails through the mattress, it's sturdy, supportive, and lightweight! I was capable of assembling and moving it around on my own. No assistance required. I will be buying another one.I didn’t want to spend too much on a big box spring so I decided to order this as it looked easy to assemble and the price was ok. The intructions were hard to follow but eventually you kind of get the hang of it (you pretty much just have to match the numbers). One side was bent and I was unable to put the screw in so that’s why I’m rating it 4 stars, as we handled it with care from the moment it arrived so it couldn’t have been us. You have to hammer in the poles that come on top. Between figuring out what to do and actually building it, it probably took about an hour to finish. They also included the tools you need so that was nice. Overall it was a good purchase and I can’t wait to try it out, I was just a bit disappointed about the bent side.In only 10 months this base caused our expensive foam mattress to deform. The bottom of our mattress has deep creases where the base slats were and over 10 month has damaged the mattress.Mattress manufacturer will not honour the warranty because this base caused the damage.I didn't have high hopes for this to work well, but this was for a guest bedroom and I needed something in a rush with specific dimensions. First off, the tool they provide to assemble is above and beyond; it's a ratchet. In terms of putting it together, I would say that I have some experience with assembly, and this one was really straight forward.However, if you have challenges, the manual and online video will definitely help. The online video appears to have been scripted by an engineer as it is extremely detailed, but gets the job done. The overall look and feel of this product is great, and much better than I expected. I would buy again if needed and would definitely recommend.
