I ordered the CX800C head cover to replace my original cover which develop a small crack which allowed water to leak when under pressure. The cover was a perfect fit and replacement for the original part, which was about 20 years old. I would recommend also ordering a new set of gaskets for the cover as they were not included. A gasket is required for the screw-on retainer knob at the top and for the cover edge where it connects to the filter housing. You will also need to either order a new pressure gauge or remove and reinstall the one from the old head cover. You may also want to purchase some silicon "gel" to treat the gaskets with before installation.Replacing the head cover was a lot cheaper than replacing the entire filter unit as you would expect. The pricing was lower than I could find locally even when shipping costs were added in. I am very happy with the purchase, which arrived when promised and in perfect condition.
