Step 2 Connect a garden hose or a sump hose to the hose fitting at the top of the pump. Make sure the connection is tight and secure before you begin using the pump. Step 3 Place the Smartbot in any area that requires the water to be drained. It requires at least 2” of water to begin pumping and drains water until its auto-off. Step 4 Plug the Smartbot into a GFCI outlet when required. It is important to use only a GFCI outlet and unplug the pump when water is not being drained anymore.

Knock Over Operation & Dry Run Protection：Works automatically even when accidentally knocked over. It monitors the water level and stops automatically when the surrounding water level drops to a normal level, is lower than the impeller, or if it encounters a blockage. The sensor prevents the machine from dry running and eventual machine failure.
Effortless water removal driven by the US patented Auto-Flo Technology The water pump is turned on as soon as Auto-Flo detects a water level of 2" (about 50.8 mm). Auto-Flo shuts down the pump when the water level falls below the normal level, protecting the motor from burns caused by dry running.
