Milodon 16213 High Performance Steel Water Pump for Small Block Chevy Engines - Improved Cooling for Racing, Hot Rods & Street Performance

You may have seen a lot of Milodon parts while out at the race track and think, that must be some good performance stuff. I purchased this pump because I knew it to be a high volume, counterclockwise, for vehicles with serpentine belt. But now that I know, I could have purchased another and saved a few dollars.This pump has on its casting "GMB" leading me to believe it is a GMB brand pump in a Milodon box. With this information, I found here on Amazon a GMB performance pump for less money. (Look for a P at the end of the part number.All that makes this a High Volume pump is the addition of an anti-cavitation plate on the impeller. Used to be able to buy these plates (I know from Milodon), but spending a few dollars more for a pump with it is worth it.I deducted two stars for the deception, over priced and the cheap gasket on the impeller cover oozing out making me worry it would leak. I am replacing all gaskets with Fel-pro gaskets.
