This is a very solid 6-stop ND filter that does its job.I do not notice any vignetting or reduction in sharpness, but the filter is that is has a quite noticeable color cast. This is the only ND filter that I own, so I cannot tell whether it is better or worse in that regard than other ND filters, but given the price tag I had very high expectations and feel a bit disappointed.Beyond that that filter is very noticeably well built. I like the quality in principle, but I wonder whether it is a bit overdone:- It nice that the box is so sturdy, but it is so difficult to open that I struggle with it every time (particularly with cold fingers).- The filter ring is very rugged, but this has the side effect that it does not fit inside my lens hood, so I have to remove it each time I use the filter.- The filter screws on with a lot of resistance, which may be good for preventing it from coming off accidentally, but this makes putting it on and off rather finicky. All of this loses precious time when I am in a hurry to get the shot done.Despite the above comments this is probably about as good an ND filter as you will find, and I would still recommend it for anyone that can stomach the price tag.
