great smokin 70s hard rock, this outfit was short lived but they banged out two great albums, this one here seems to be fans most favorite but i liked jab it in your eye as well, great remastering here with a great booklet, this was a powerhouse band with chris spedding and paul (ex free) both on the axe, great keyboards here to that gave this a good commercial feeling yet a great hard rock sound, i cant say this outfit was ahead of its time but they where more like right on time, just spin this and get two songs in and already you will be able to tell this is a totally mid 70s masterpeice, im not to sure on what the touring situation was behind this band becouse not to long after both these sharks records came out paul would be dead ( rip) but this music sure passed the test of time almost 40 years later!!!!!!!!!!! i think these two seperate issues sound better then the two on one cd issue that came out back in the early/mid 90s but i was dissapointed that there are no bonus tracks included here but then again these guys where probably on a tight budget and may not have extra stuff in the vaults. regardless this great rock masterpiece is hard to compare to anyone else of the time but if you lean more on the hard rock/rockablilly side i think this should suit you well.
