I had two friends recommend this vacuum. I had two Dysons that both quit back to back and neither lasted more than 18 months. Was tired of spending $400-600 for vacuums. I purchased this as a temporary until I could get another but I will say that it is a great vacuum. The suction is quiet and makes you think the it isn't powerful but it is. I use the button on the top that makes it suck harder every time I use it. . Battery last forever. No problems at all yet. Perfect vacuum for the price!Updated 6/18/22, see below:The vacuum is lightweight, started out fabulous. Used it 2-3x a week for small things, like tidying the bathroom/laundry room floors, or a quick vacuum of the kitchen. However, I purchased this in June 2021, about a month ago it began losing it last charge. Not even had it a year and this thing lasts maybe 3 minutes before I have to put it back on the charger. It’s worthless now, and don’t bother calling customer service. An automated speaker placed you on hold “while assisting other customers” and then it hangs up on you. I waited on hold 3 separate times for several minutes only to be disconnected at the end. Such a shame…not worth $200 for less then a year out of it.Update: after my review, Tineco reached out by email and gave my some tips to check and see if I could get the vacuum back to its original running time. We usually clean it each time we empty it, but after taking every piece and part out and thoroughly cleaning it, it is running longer now. I would still say the running time and the suction power are worth noting 4 stars.Do I love having a cordless vacuum? Yes! Does it pick up a lot of dirt? Yes again! But I find myself going over things several times on a bare floor, which is 80% of my house. Things like, a little leaf. Or a clothing tag barb. I have to go over it several times and then nudge it with my foot to get it directly in the path, and the vac still doesn't pick it up. But generally I'm very happy with it. I grab it to do one area and end up vacuuming most of the house lol. My floors have never been cleaner.A few tips, it must be on high speed. And on bare floors it only lasts about 15 minutes, if that. Which is ok, because I'm tired at that point. So I do 3 rooms one day, 3 rooms next time. That works for me. If you need to do the entire house every day, forget it. Stick with a corded vac. Otherwise I'm a happy customer! This has been a good vacuum for our family. It was easy to put together. It’s nice and light, and the attachments are easy to switch out, so my wife and kids and I can all use it without any hassle. It has decent suction on the regular setting, and the turbo setting is very strong. Understandably, using a lot of turbo really shortens the battery life. I’ve used this to vacuum out my car, the stairs, and a couple of other small jobs and it works well for those as well as doing the whole house. I have a 2-story, 2,000 sq ft house and it can do one floor on a single charge.Customer service!! Fantastic. I miss read what parts came with the vacuum and they understood and sent me the main one i needed! Not only that the vacuum is quiet and easy to use. Gets the job done and sleek looking! Glad i made the purchase! This is probably the best vacuum I have owned. It's light weight, has good suction power, and the parts are so easy to interchange. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is two things. First, the wheels are quite squeaky rolling on my tile floor and second is there should be a battery monitor light, so you know when the battery is running low. Other than that, don't pay a fortune for a Dyson, this vacuum is the way to go.After using my daughters cordless vac I had high hopes in finding one that worked as well but this was not it. The suction was not powerful enough to clean the kitchen floor and the battery life was half what was expected. Returned and will try another brand. For many years I used an inexpensive vacuum - an old dirt devil, that came with a cord, and was quite bulky. I had my doubts about if it was actually picking up dust. These were well founded. Within minutes of my first use, the Tineco picked up so much, that I didn’t even know was there. No wonder my sneezing and wheezing was ongoing no matter how many times I vacuumed. There was still plenty trapped in the carpet that my old vaccuum didn’t get to. It’s also super easy to clean the dust bin and filters. I am excited about this investment - and if all continues to go well, may even try the higher and later models.
